The Young Friends will hold a weekly supper at 6 p.m. tomorrow followed by a discussion of Buddhism. Ralph Horn, third semester student - in the Division of Inter mediate Registration, will lead a discussion of the topic "No Hiding Place" at a meeting of the Stu dent Fellowship of St. John's Evangelical Unite d Brethren Church at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow. R. Wallace BrewSter, professor of political science, will speak on "Race Prejudice" at Wesley Foun •dation of the Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow. A supper' will be held at 5:15 p.m. Discussion groups will meet after Brewster's talk. Rees Slated To Speak At Chapel The Rev. Elfan Rees, adviser of refugee affairs to the World Coun cil of Churches and secretary of the Commission of the Churches on International Affairs in Gen eva, Switzerland, will Speak at Chapel services at 10:55 a.m. to morrow in Schwab Auditorium. His subject will be "The Cen tury of the Homeless Man." Rees was born in Brecon, Wales, and graduated from Oxford Uni versity., He studied theology at Mansfield College and Oxford. He was ordained into the Congrega tional ministry in 1930. In 1934,Rees was aopointed di rector of the South Wales Coun cil of Social Service and in 1938 he was elected chairman of the Welsh committee for the care of refugees. After three years of service as a wing commander in the Royal Air Force in Wales, Rees became senior • welfare specialist for the Balkan Commission of UNRRA in 1944. In '1947 he was appointed direc tor of the Refugee Division of the World Council Department of Re lief and Reconstruction, and in 1949 became its special adviser on refugee affairs. The test will be given Dec. 9 at the University. The deadline for mailing applications is mid night, Nov. 23. The test is used by local draft boards to determine a student's eligibility for scholastic defer ment. However, a passing grade on the examination does not in sure deferment, nor does a fail ing grade mean the student auto matically will be drafted. So, when Daily Collegian re viewer Edmnd Reiss developed what he thought was a case of appendicitis dur in g Thursday night's opening of• Players' "Mr. Roberts,' he hastened himself to the University hospital. Reiss, who has often raised the ire of University dramatists by panning their productions, dic tated his review from the hospital to the' Collegian office. He had watched Wednesday night's dress rehearsal, and the first act of Thursday's perforMance. Reiss liked the show. In his re view he termed it "most rollock ing, most entertaining . . ." After reading Reiss' review yes terday, one student cynically com mented: "Great Scott! Reiss liked a Players show. He must have been sick!" It developed yesterday that Reiss doesn't have appendicitis, after all.
