' In 1950—the last time the Lions met the New Yorkers —Penn State tripped a tough Syracuse squad, 2-0. Hosterman Broke Leg Ken Hosterman was in school when the Lions chalked up their wins over Syracuse in 1948, and 1949, but was Watching the game and his brother from the side lines. A broken leg suffered in a 1947 contest forced him to give up the)booting sport.
