Of course we are glad to have
anice big, modern building, bui
the structure doesn't make a li

administration would realize
this, but it appears they do not.
Perhaps instead of concentrat
ing on the exterior, the Uni
versity should do something
about the interior, i.e., get more
worthwhile books. Then we may
feel less like laughing when we
look at the words on the walls.

For 'Drag'
Only one shopping day left before Dungaree Drag! Ingenious
coeds needing material for dates’ corsages will be scavengering
through food stores, the “five and ten”, and harware establishments.
Florists will be universally by-passed in the search^
Coeds shopping for tickets will find them at Carnegie bulletin
board and Waring Hall today or
at the dance tomorrow night.
Dungaree Drag corsages are
made traditionally by women for
the men they’ve invited to the
annual girl-ask-boy * dance. This
year a home football game will
interfere with Saturday after
noon corsage' workshops. Today
will be a busy afternoon!
It takes a little wire, a little
glue, a few limp vegetables per
haps. A lot of originality. Ar
ranging is frequently easier with
the eyes closed,' Balloons are
large and showy and cover up
some .evils of poor workmanship.
Corn cobs are in season. Accom
panying corn shocks are more
unusual

Corsages are worn on the shoul
der. Keep this in mind. Some
coeds have made headdresses.
Headdresses don't win corsage
prizes. Wrist corsages win corsage
prizes but dancing with a weight
on one’s arm can be tiresome. Par
ticularly if there is a date on one’s
arm, too,
One more word to the wise
corsage arranger. Corsages must
be attached. Check the bulk pf
the corsage to make sure it won’t
tear a gaping hole in date’s shirt
or strangle him slowly if attached
inconspicuously around the neck.
More and more Dungaree “Drags”
each year never call to return the
favor.
