PAGE EIGHT 4th Seminar Of Newsmen leg ins Today The privileges and responsibil ities of newspapers in reporting law enforcement events will be discussed at the fourth annual seminar for newspapermen at the University today and tomorrow. R. Wallace Brewster, professor and head of the Department of Political Science, will be chair man of the seminar which is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Society of Newspaper Editors and the University. Among the speakers at th e seminar will be Wayland H. Els bree, editor of the Philadelphia Legal Intelligencer, who will talk on the question: which records are public and which are priv ileged? William M. Smith Jr., pro fessor of family relationships, will speak on sex crime stories; Wil liam F. Achatz. photography edi tor of the Philadelphia associat ed press, will speak on news pho tographers and their problems in courts. Dinner speakers will be Jeffer son B. Fordham, dean of the Uni versity of Pennsylvania La w School; and Mason W. Gross, Rut gers University provost. Contributions will be col lected in cash again next year, Smith. said.
