PAGE EIGHT Chain Reaction Damages Four Parked Cars A mis-judged turn in parking area 11 Friday caused a housing employee to start a chain reaction which ended by damaging four parked cars. Mrs. Grace Henry was attempt ing to turn left after driving south in the lot behind Sigma Nu frat ernity and swung her car too wide, striking one of four cars parked in a tight square. The first car was driven back and to its left, against cars in both of those positions, and the car behind it was pushed into the car to its left by the im pact. Total damage was estimated by Capt. Philip A. Mark of the Cam pus Patrol as $lBO for all five cars involved. The greatest amount, $75, was sustained by the first car struck. Mark said the Henry car carried full insurance and the owners of the cars struck, who were not present, are being con tacted by the woman's insurance agent. Owners of the four parked bars are Raymond Albed, second se mester business administration major; Stuart Horn, fourth semes ter chemical engineering major; Carl Kindred, second semester pre-veterinary major; and Ber nard Kuchta, sixth semester fuel technology major. In 1872 Silas Noble applied for and received the patent for the manufacture of toothpicks. CLASSIFIEDS FOR SALE NEED A convertible this spring?
