Wife of Research Prof
Dies in Waynesboro
Jean Chalfant Gee, wife of
Kenneth H. Gee, research associ
de in mineroiogy, died in the
Waynesboro home of her parents
Tuesday night. She was 27.
Mrs. Gee, daughter of the pres
ident of the Waynesboro Record-
Herald Publishing Co. and mem
ber of the board of directors of
the company, is survived by her
husband, her parents, a twin
brother, and a sister. She had
been ill for four years.

Chaperoned dating will be
necessary for "dry" fraternities as
well as others from 8 to 1. Friday
and Saturday nights. Kenworthy
explained that this provision was
included because the policy
changes are not" based entirely
upon the drinking situation.
Fraternities employing f u 11-
time housemothers will not be
required to register with the dean
of men and dean of women for
occasions when women guests
will be present, except for special
parties.
In houses w here full-time
housemothers are not employed,
the organization must register one
week in advance for chaperoned
Friday and Saturday night dating.
The dean of men will assist
fraternities in finding qualified
housemothers, Kenworthy said.
"The fraternities themselves
will have ideas about this, as will
