Group to Probe
Party Planks
A ten-man sophomore commit
tee has been appointed by Hugh
Cline, sophomore class president,
to investigate the extent that State
and Lion parties have carried out
the planks of their fall platforms.
The committee list is not com
plete, Cline said yesterday, and
it will be added to from time to
time as the need arises. The com
mittee will look into each plank
of the platforms of both parties
and prepare a report that will be
submitted to the officers of the
sophomore class, Cline said.
Rudolph Lutler is chairman of
the committee. Other committee
men are John Kraft, Donna
Vought, Dean Watring, Fay Hil
berg, James Hinkle, Janet McKee,
Eleanor Frank, Shirley Mix, and
Paul Heim.

Otto Helzel, fifth semester pre
law major: “I feel that deposition
of the TUB should depend upon
whether it can be renovated as a
conference hall without prohibi
tive costs or else, such changes
being too expensive, the building
could be torn down to make room
for a newer, more useful build
ing.”
