While vie are in college, there are two alternatives in respect to our religious development. On the one hand, we may settle for the relatively shallow under standing which we inherit from childhood. On the other hand, we may admit the possibility of a deeper understanding and seek it, coming to a more mature and intellectually responsible Christian faith. It is inevitable that the ideas of religion which we had at the age of ten or fifteen will be inadequate for adulthood. This inade quacy is especially apparent during college 'years when the mind is . stimulated to new understandings of life by the sciences and arts, but allowed sometimes to' atrophy for want of the samd stimulation by religious thought. It is with the hope of providing some of this stimulation thai the churches of State College direct their programs both to worship and to study Beaver and Frazier'Bt. .Minister Friends Meeting 318 Atherton St. Eyaluation— --!,Continued from page two; trace it in the institution's pro gram."
