terers and FMA representatives
at the Allencrest Tea Room Wed
nesday night.
The purpose of the meeting was
to h . :dorm prospective members of
the association of the past history
and future plans of the group.
Perkins urged ncn member fra
ternities to compare FMA prices
with those they are now,paying.
Twenty-six fraternities are now
members of the association.
. Julius Shapiro, FMA treasurer,
reported the association did a
business volume of $16,000 last
year. He also reported $3,550
worth of business had been trans
acted. during September of this
year.
Scrolls Plan Workshop
Scrolls, senior women's hat so

the Women's Recreation Associa

This work is still in its infancy,
Mrs. Frings said, but there is a
big controversy in the field and
she wants to pin it down.
Mrs. Frings had. over 15,000
references on the subject which
date back to the late 17th and
early 18th centuries. Each article
she receives is either a reprint, a
photostat, or microfilmed copy.
Articles on the subject are scat
tered in almost 370 journals in
all languages, which she and Dr.
Frings translate and reproduce.
Couple Given Pasteur Medal
Dr. and Mrs. Frings were in
vited to France this spring by the
Ministry of Agriculture, the Air
Force and the University of Paris.
