Kenworthy, director of student affairs, and Edgar Fehnel, seventh semester animal husbandry major, told the Faculty Luncheon Club yesterday they have great confidence in the student leaders' encampment program. . Fehnel, who was in charge of this year's encampment at Mont Alto, said he was impressed mainly with the "informality and congeniality with which students and faculty members discussed matters," The idea for the encampment came from Kansas State Univer sity in 1949, Fehnel said, and af ter three years of research Penn State held its first encampment. ' Recommendations of the en campment are passed on to All- College Cabinet, Fehnel ex plained. Some of these recom mendations are now in effect on campus, he pointed out. Kenworthy said he. thought one Frosh Rioter Will Be Tried By Tribunal A freshman who took part in the Sept. 28 demonstration in the West Dorm area will appear before Tribunal at 7:30 tonight in the Student Government room, 204 Old Main. Charges against the student are expected to be similar to those upheld in the case of three senior men who appeared before Tribunal Tuesday. These stu dents were placed on office pro bation in the Dean of Men's of fice for inciting further violence by heckling and refusing to co operate with student leaders. Eleven cases of traffic viola tions deferred at the last Tribunal meeting will also be reviewed. Dean of Men Frank J. Freshman Iniuied In Auto Accident A first semester freshman was slightly injured in a three-car accident midnight Sunday at Boalsburg when his car skidded on the wet pavement and crashed into a bridge on Route 322. Daniel Moskwa, an agricultural education major, suffered bruises of the head and right knee. John Luciani, first semester science major, riding with Moskawa, re ceived cuts of the face when his head went through the wind shield. The study is part .of the cam pus program, Smott said, to im plement a resolution, passed. at the National Student Congress this summer. The resolution, seeks to minimize misunderstanding in the college, community by mutual recognition and respect of areas of _ campus jurisdiction. The constitutions would be sur veyed from a standpoint of con tradiction to the All-College Con stitution, general constitutional form, and style, Smodt said. More study is necessary before a restatement and confirmation of previously delegated authority and responsibility, as rec o m mended by the resolution, can be brought before cabinet, Smoot said. - Penn State is among the lead ing • contenders for the NSA sub commission on student leadership, Smoot said.
