The' Lions will play Boston University away this Saturday. 1000 Students Cheer Lions at Pep Rally About 1000 students gathered in front of Old Main last night to participate in the pre-Boston University football game pep rally. Emcees of the rally, sponsored by Blue Key, junior men's hat society, were Charles Obertance and Marshall Donley, seventh semester journalism majors. Obertance and Donley presented a skit, a take-off on Dragnet, with appropriate theme music by the Penn State Blue Band. The band and cheerleaders led the group, mostly freshmen, in songs and cheers. Football players Roosevelt Grier and James Garrity were in troduced by the masters of cere monies. They expressed hopes of a change in the final results of the Boston game as compared with scores of the last two Sat urdays, and said they expected the team to show improvement at Boston. The arrival of the Blue Band, preceded by the cavorting Frothy, got the rally off to a rousing start promptly at 7:30. The cheerleading squad, led by head clleerleader Bruce Wagner, led the group in several cheers and school songs. The team will leave for Harris burg by bus tomorrow. They will fly from Harrisburg to Boston, and return by air immediately following the game Saturday afternoon. Student Teachers To Order Gowns Seniors graduating in January who will be student teaching dur ing the second eight weeks' of the semester will order caps an d gowns Tuesday through Oct. 16 at the Athletic Store. A $5 deposit must be made and seniors must give their hat size when ordering. Other seniors graduating in January will order caps and gowns from Dec. 1 to 5. Money, Book Returns End Today at USA Today is the last day the Used Book •Agency will return money or unsold books. Freshman women may use the White Hall alleys at 7 p.m. Mon day. Upperclasswomen will bowl at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Following a few weeks of prac tice, club members will be divid ed into teams and round-robin competition will begin. Dean Eu wema will lecture on "The Ob jectives of the Liberal Arts School" at 8 p.m. in 121 Sparks. Other lecturers • scheduled for this semester are Henri M. Peyre, professor of French at Yale Uni versity, arid Dr. Milton S. Eisen hower, president of the College.
