Miss White said plans will be made for the coronation, in which all contestants have been asked to participate. SU Directory Deadline Set Names of officers of fraterni ties, sororities, honor societies, and other' organizations must be handed in by Friday at the Stu dent Union desk in Old Main to be included in the new Student Directory, according to George L. Donovan, director of student af fairs. The Student Union directory, published by the Department of Associated Student Activities and Student Union, is the only list of its kind on campus. It includes the president, adviser, and tele phone number of every fraternity and sorority and the names, pres idents, and advisers of 53 honor ary and professional societies. Also listed in the directory are the names of officers of classes, Women's Student Government As sociation, hat societies, campus publications and members of All- College Cabinet. Blood Drive Ups, Minors' Releases DNe Red Cross pledge slips and re lease slips for minors for the May 11-13 blood drive should be turned in to the College Place ment office, 112 Old Main, as soon as possible, Robert Hance, co-chairman for the collection, has announced. Crawford to Speak Approximately 300 recreation directors and staff, members from the state have registered. Final registration will be at 10 a.m. to morrow in the Nittany Lion Inn lobby. Preliminary meetings of offi cers and a tour of the College. campus will open the program. At 7:30 p.m. tomorrow Robert Crawford, deputy commissioner and superintendent of recreation in Philadelphia, will speak on "Professional Maturity." Workshop sessions will start on Thursday. Chief aims are to cuss utilization of state recrea tion facilities, exchange program ideas, and consider expansion , of school and municipal camps. Three general meetings are scheduled in addition to the workshops. Leo Weinrott, vice chairman of the State Recreation Council, will present the Gov ernor's report on recreation at the Thursday luncheon meeting. Phys Ed Group Makes Trial Picnic Plans Tentative plans for its school picnic were announced at . a meet ing of the Physical Education Stu dent Council last night. Tuesday evening, May 19th at Horticulture Woods is the tenta tive date. A program of refresh merits and a square dance to be held later in the evening also were discussed. Class representa tives on the council were asked to canvass class members this week to discover the most favor able time for the picnic. The Paul Smith Memorial tro phy, which will be awarded an nually starting this spring _by the' council to the •outstanding senior bo y in the Physical Education School, has been ordered by Eu gene Bischoff, director of intra mural sports, the council reported. Because of poor visitor attend ance at the Physical EduCation Open House this past week the council voted to recommend to the ISCB that future open houses in the school be held during the fall.
