Glee Club, Band
To Start Tours
The Penn State Concert Blue
Band and the Men's Glee Club
will leave Monday on their annual
spring tours through Pennsylvania
and New York.
The Varsity Quartet and the
Hy-Los will perform with the
Glee Club, which opens its week
long series of concerts in • York.
The 50-voice group will per
form,Tuesday in Reading and con
tinue to Allentown, New York
City, and Philadelphia.
The group's appearance will be
sponsored by the Penn State
alumni clubs in the locality where
it performs.
The Concert Blue Band's two
day tour will open at 8 p.m.
in Connellsville. Three concerts
will be given Tuesd a y. The
group will perform at Irwin at
10:15 a.m., Turtle Creek at 1 p.m.,
and Uniontown at 8 p.m.

The deadline for submitting
applications for counselor po
sitions during Orientation
Week has been extended to 5
p.m. Monday, Michael Jordon,
orientation chairman, has an
nounced.
Approximately 100 men will
be chosen for the jobs, which
will begin Sept. 15. Free room
and board will be given to
those counselors living in the
dorms,. while $lO will be allot
ted to those living downtown
for the two-day period.
