Changes Made
In Nominations
Of WD Leaders
Nominations for awards to out
standing seniors in the West Dorm
area will be made by nominations
from the various living units, the
West Dorm council decided Mon
day night.
Previously letters addressed to
awards committee chairman Hugh
Cline were nominations, however,
when Cline did not receive any
letters, the council proposed that
each unit nominate at least one
man for each of the three awards:
athletics, scholarship, and activi
ties. Winners will receive 't h e
awards at the council banquet
May 5 after selection by an ad
ministrative-student committee.
The council decided it would
enter, Spring Week on its own
rather 'than join the independent
Spring Week coordinating com
mittee. All Spring Week activities
will be entered.
Television will be tested in the
West Dorm lounge after the Eas
ter vacation, the council was told.
Notices will be posted near
laundry facilities and telephones
warning outsiders not .to us e
them, the council decided. A let
ter from Harold W. Perkins, as
sistant dean of men, assured the
council action would be taken
against offenders.
