•PAGE- EIGHT Steidle invited To Lecture in California Dr. .Edward Steidle, dean of the School of Mineral-Industries, has been, invited to be a visiting lec turer at the University of Califor nia for one month beginning Monday.' While in California, Steidle will participate in the inauguration of Chancellor Clark Kerr March 21. He will also take part in Charter Day activities including the Char ter Day banquet during the per iod of March 21-23. Plans are being made for Stei dle to meet with various alumni, committees and mineral indus tries groups. He will also address the, San Francisco section of the American Institute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers. Arthur B. Cram, class of 1870, defied the jinxes and celebrated his 100th birthday yesterday at a quiet family din ner. Cram, who received his diplo ma in general science when the College was only 15 years old, is a retired architectural engineer living in Detroit.
