TASTE BETTER!
Cleaner, Fresher,
Ask yourself this question: Why do I smoke?
You know, yourself, you smoke for enjoyment
And you get enjoyment only from the taste of a
cigarette. ' .
Luckies taste better—cleaner, fresher, smoother!
Why? Luckies are made better to taste better. And,
what’s more, Luckies are made of fine tobacco.
L.S./M.F.T.—Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco.
So, for the thing you want most in a cigarette ...
for better taste—for the cleaner, fresher, 1 smoother

Seniors May See
New Liori Suit
In Use by Spring
A new $5OO Lion suit has been
ordered from Chenko Studio, New
York costumers, Harold R. Gil
bert, graduate manager of ath
letics, announced yesterday. ‘
If the new suit is received be
fore the close of the winter sports
season, the Lion, may perform at
a basketball game or wrestling
match so seniors who 'contributed
to the new suit may see it, Gil
bert said.
In a letter to Gilbert, Chenko
guaranteed that the new suit
would be. a better, stronger job.
In order to produce a true Nittany
Lion, Chenko read in the New
York Library about mountain
lions and visited the lions’ cages
at a New York zoo.
Contributions amounting to
$599.26 were collected for the suit
this fall in a fund drive initiated
by Alex Gregal, who portrayed
the Lion this fall. In October All-
College Cabinet established a per
manent fund from which money
for a new suit may be taken when
ever needed.

State Party
Will Abandon
Steering Group
State Party is abandoning .its
steering committee,' according to
Myron Enelow, clique chairman.
Enelow. said the, party is estab
lishing a student representative
council to take the place of tlje
dropped steering committee. The
council will represent “all areas
and every dorm.”
- Members-of the council will be
comprised of area political heads
and political heads of each dormi
tory or similar unit. The new po
litical, heads will compare roughly
with the present setup of local
chairmen for publicity, and distri
bution.
Enelow said the change was be
ing made to provide students with
a greater opportunity to run the
party. He said the students are
capable of running the party and
are being given the opportunity
in compliance with their' wishes.
