Included on the second floor will be the SU management offi ces along with meeting rooms for student organizations. On the ground floor will be a cafeteria with small dining rooms for group meetings, a snack bar, a space for the present student book exchange, lost and found de partment, a dining terrace, photo There will also be unfinished rooms designed for future devel opment of crafts, including metal shop, ceramics, wood shop, gen eral work shop, and a room for drawing, painting, and designing. The basement will include stor age rooms for the food service and space for the utilities of the building. The addition of an east wing to the Inn will add 75 new rooms, doubling the present number of guest rooms. It will also provide for a grill room under the present main dining room, a large meet ing room in the new wing, and a small meeting room under the lounge of the present structure. Ml School Plans Studies of Carbon The Mineral Industries school will study the manufacture of car bon black and activated carbon from anthracite under a research grant of $12,000 from the Phila delphia and Reading Coal and Iron Co. Professor Calvert C. Wright, chief of the fuel technology diyi sion, will direct the study. Professor John C. Calhoun, chief of the petroleum and natural gas engineering division, will super vise a $2500 grant from the Sin clair Refining Co. for a fellowship in petroleum production.
