Members will discuss the LaVie fee for freshmen along with the election of a new treasurer. It was reported by a member of the board that 100 places for men could be fopnd and they had hoped to house the rest in rooms vacated by students, with their permission, who had left for the weekend. The convention committee had told delegates the cost of the con vention would be $3.75 in the two letters mailed to the dele gates. Reese said that the com mittee had assumed that the Col lege’s only housing charge would be a small linen fee. Lehman told the board that the Board of Trus tees requires the College to charge $1.50 per night for persons at tending a convention. This am ount was not included in the $3.75 registration fee. Estimation of the cost per dele gate was $7 or $B. This would have been a cost to AIM of $l6OO. Collections from the delegates would have totaled $750.
