Debaters Win Trophy

CLAIR GEORGE (right), David Lewis, and Joseph O'Brien,
faculty adviser to the debate teams, admire the trophy which the
mien's debate team won in the Eastern Intercollegiate Debating
Tournament,held last weekend. The team won first place from
among the 30 colleges and universities participating in the debates.

Not Expected
To Oppose Site
All American Airways is not
expected to take a stand on the
site of its services in Centre Coun
ty before the' Civil Aeronautics
Board, the Associated Press re
ported at the opening of CAB
hearings yesterday in Washington.
,The airline is seeking author
ity to continue Its feeder service
through the Middle Atlantic
States and discussion on the serv
ice point for Centre County is
expected to come up since the
county board of commissioners
indicated last week that it would
send a representative to take an
active part in the.hearings.
The commissioners are support
ing the Black Moshannon site
near Philipsburg as opposed to
the State College Air Depot,
which Has served the area in the
past.

Tickets for the fifth annual In
tercollegiate Band Concert to be
held April 19 in Recreation Hall
