Born at Royer, Blair County, Dr. Wagner was a resident of Al toona for many years. After he was graduated from Findlay Col : - lege, 'Ohio, and received • his Bachelor of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological • Seminary, he took post-graduate study at Columbia University and Union College and received his honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Franklin and Marshall College; Lancaster. Since 1931 he has been pastor of St, Peter's Reformed Church in Lancaster. Each Players' production is open to anyone who cares to try out. - Membership in the organiza tion is governed by a point sys tem under which all who contri bute in any way to a production are allotted a certain number' of credit points according to the im portance of their tasks. This ap plies to technical work as well as acting 'and production jobs. Membership in Thespians is also governed by previous par ticipation in productions. The musical comedy group usually sponsors two shows each year, one a student-written work and the other a standard Broad way musical. Last year, for in stance, in the fall semester a stu dent-written. revue, "Some Pun kins'," was produced, and the spring semester saw the presenta tion of Cole Porter's "Anything Goes."
