New Livestock
Attracts Visitors
The new livestock obtained re
cently through a special appro
priation of the legislature has
started to attract visitors from
other colleges to the campus.
A livestock judging' team from
the University of Connecticut
spent last Thursday and Friday
practice judging the new ani
mals. The group then moved to
Cornell University before return
ing to New Haven, Connecticut.
The livestock, which ha v e
gained widespread attention, rep
resent some of the nation's out
standing blood lines in the var
ious breeds of beef cattle, swine,
