PAGE EIGHT Prexy Speaks On Educatioji At Coffee Hour President Milton S. Eisenhower said at the Agriculture' student faculty coffee hour Wednesday that no educational institution to day is fulfiling its obligations to its students unless it is consider ing both educational and social aspects. President Eisenhower said that research, courses, and extension here at the College are among the best, but we still need more research. A truly good institution, he• said, can never fully meet, all, demands, for as fast as demands are met, new demands are made. Also at the coffee hour, a cup was presented to George Alle man, sophomore - ag education student, by Russell B. Dickerson, assistant dean of the School of Agriculture. The cup is awarded annually by Alpha Zeta fraternity to the outstanding sophomore scholar. Alleman has an All-College aver age of 2.82. Previously in th e afternoon, President Eisenhower attended a conference of the Great Lakes Farm Cooperative. The GLF. co-op group is hold ing meetings here until today. This group is composed of GLF representatives from all over the state. The group will tour the campus. The first flight of jets is due from Pittsburgh at 2:52 p.m. Then a flight of fighter planes which is also due from Pitts burgh is scheduled to appear overhead at 3:30 p.m. ' The Navy jets which will leave from Willow Grove Naval Air Station are expected to arrive at 4:20 p.m. in State College.
