7. A student press. A press suit
able for all campus publications
would cost about $lOO,OOO. A print
shop using the offset printing pro
cess which is reported to be suit
able for magazines would cost
about $25,000. The press find now
contains $16,000.
The senior class gift committee
which chose the seven gift pos
sibilities from all those submitted
consists of Otto Grupp, William
Barr, Jo Ann Esterly and Joseph
Lenchner.
Androcles Names Officer
Androcles, junior men's hat so
ciety, announced its officers for
the coming year at its banquet
last Friday night.
Richard Rostmeyer was elected
president; Thomas Fleming, vice
president; and David Kleinberg,
secretary-treasurer.

monies. He will talk on "The
Lump of Learning Fallacy."
Dr. Stoddard spoke on behalf
of the Penn State alumni at Pres
ident Eisenhower's inauguration
last October.
Organ Prelude
The program will open with
an organ prelude by George E.
Cei g a, assistant professor of
music. James T. Smith, College
chaplain, will give the invocation.
Greetings to those attending
will be extended by President
Eisenhower.
The Honors Day program is de
signed to combine a number of
awards which have in the past
been given at different times.
Th e Distinguished. Alumnus
awards have been started in order
to create a method of honoring
outstanding alumni. No honorary
degrees are given by the College.

Dr. William G. Mather, profes
sor of rural sociology, and Wil
liam M. Smith Jr., professor of
family relations, will be among
the speakers at the annual con
vention of the Pennsylvania Fed
eration of Women's Clubs in New
York this week.
Chem Lecture• Tonight
Dr. Charles Maresh will ad
dress the central Pennsylvania
section, Arherican Chemical So
ciety on "Flourescent Mier o
scopy" at 7:30 tonight in 119 Os
mond. Dr. Maresh is chief micro
scopist of the Calco Chemical Di
vision, American Cyanamid Co.
