Mary Ellen Grube, present president of WRA, Marilyn Wil liams, newly elected president, and Betty Lou Jones, senior ad visor, were the College’s repre sentatives.- One of the main topics of dis cussion was the role of the AFCW in national defense. Engineers Attend Demonstration Today Engineers representing more than 30 industries, colleges, and' the armed forces attended a one day demonstration meeting on ex haust pipe research at the Col lege today. ■ " Through discussions and dem onstrations the staff members of the engineering experiment sta tion will explain results of re search work on pipes for engines. This work _.arted four years ago under the sponsorship of the Office of Naval Research. Philosophy Club Hears Physics Prof Tonight Prof. Richard Raymond of the! Department of Physics will speak to the Philosophy club on “The Scientific Theory of Knowledge” tonight at 8 o’clock in 124 Sparks.
