One of the most hilarious
scenes is a pseudo revival meet
ing conducted by Moon. It has to
be seen to be appreciated.
The quartet which sings "Lady
Fair" and accompanies Reno in
the "Blow Gabriel, Blow" num
ber is rather disappointing. Al
though their dead-pan delivery
in the former tune has a fine
comic flair, their singing just
doesn't jell. There is none of the
smoothness of harmony which
characterizes a good singing unit.
