PAGE EIGITT Senate Lifts ROTC Credit Requirement For Women Student Woman students do not have to make up six credits in lieu of ROTC, C. O. Williams, secretary of the senate, said yesterday. Rumors were circulating on campus that there had been a cu t in credit requirements for graduation in two schools. The action, taken during the February meeting of the senate, affects only women in all schools at the College. The amendment was made to rule 88 of student regulations which d eals with ROTC and persons who must take the military course. The new ruling is retroactive to the fall semester. However, women students who have taken credits to keep their total on par with the requirements for grad uation will have those credits up to six considered as extra. The Old Testament tells us, as does Jesus in the New Testament, that the first commandment is to "love the Lord, thy God, with all thy mind and soul and strength", and the second, like unto the first, is "thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself". The right kind of love would remedy all the ills of the world. POPP.Vot., ;Z":;,21 Roman Catholic Fairmount Aye. and Frazier St. The Rev. John C. O'Leary Rector and The Rev.
