berson, all of the School of Home
Economics, are attending a meet
ing concerned with the graduate
program in the country, it was
announced today. The meeting
was called by the U. S. Office of
Education in Washington. D.C.
GSA Awards Contracts
For College Construction
HARRISBURG, Feb. 20 (?l
The General State Authority
awarded contracts today for
$371,387 for construction of new
greenhouses and.laboratory work
rooms at the Pennsylvania State
College.
The contracts include: general

moral and ethical beliefs, Miller
said.
Miller also said that in the 20th
century competent scientists and
theologians finally 'got together
and they now believe conflict is
not inevitable. The West must
rely on religious, not scientific
ideas for ethics, he said.
Critical Situation
The Rev. Robert L. James Jr.,
third speaker in the colloquy, said
the crisis is not something that
ha s happened since December,
and is therefore not a' strict crisis,
but is a critical situation. Man is
at the place where power will ei
ther shift to the East, or else be
shared with the East, he said.
The ultimate crisis in every
man's life is the questions of obe
dience to himself, or obedience to
God, he said. We are displaying
obedience to ourselves by striving
for national power, and security,
James said. God's will should
have precedence over these be
liefs, he said.
Taylor, who recently returned
from China where he observed
communism in action, said com
munism is challenging the youth
of China and they are accepting
the challenge. He said we are
calling youth for military chal
lenge, but not challenge of God.
He said communism is out to
win the world to their way of
living; yet we haven't even de-
