Sororities Plan
Open Houses
Panhellenic council announced
last night that sororities will hold
open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Feb.
17 in th e sorority suite rooms.
The open house will give girls
who are interested in
.going sor
ority an opportunity to meet
members of the sororities. All
rushees must have a one all-col
lege average, and freshman are
not permitted to rush. Margaret
Ann Bratt was appointed publicity
chairman for open house.
Plans for holding a Panhellenic
workshop which would include
other colleges were discussed at
the council meeting. Ella Louise
Wiliams is general chairman for
the proposed workshop, which
Would. be held either this spring
or next fall. Chairmen of other
committees are Lyn Levitt, cor
respondence; Patricia Weaver,
food; Geraldine Dosey, housing;
Isabel Cooper, program; and Nat
alie Adler, entertainment Fur
ther 'discussion of the workshop
was tabled until the next meet
ing.

Rosen will assist Ruth Grotsky in
editing t h e Panhellenic booklet
which will be sent out next sum
mer. The booklet will be sent to
girls planning on entering th e
College in the fall.

Clothing Drive
Fourteen large boxes of clothes
were collected during the annual
WSGA clothing drive.
"The drive was a big success
and I'd like to thank everyone,
who contributed," said Virginia
Miller. vice-president of WSGA.
The boxes of clothes were given
to the Friends association, who
will send them overseas to needy
children in* Europe and Korea.
Delta Delta Delta
The pledge class of Delta Delta
Delta sorority held a, tea for the
active members of the chapter.

College and is from Orlando,
Florida. She is a member of Gam
ma Phi Beta sorority.
Mr. Dallas graduated from the
College in 1950 in commerce and
finance. He served in the navy
during the war. The groom is a
member of Tau Kappa Epsilon
and served on Tribunal at the
College.
Jean Garretson, a senior at the
College, was the maid of honor.
She was the only attendant.
The pair are now living in
York, Pa.
