PAGE FOUR IM Cage Squads Win Third Games Fraternity leagues A, B, and F went into action last Friday night with Pi Kappa Phi, Theta Chi, Sigma Chi and Alpha Gamma Rho capturing their third loop battles without a loss. Walt Gruver and Ray Koehler scored 10 and 9 markers respec tively to set the pace for Pi Kap pa Phi as they dumped Omega Psi Phi, 29-15. Other contests in league A saw Sigma Phi Alpha down Theta Xi, 17-10, as Dick Horikawa banked 8 points, and Phi Epsilon Pi won a forfeit, vic tory from Delta Theta Sigma. In league B Theta Chi beat Tau Phi Delta, 17-9, with Herb Kurtz contributing 6 points for the win ners. Alpha Epsilon Pi lost a 10-7 halftime lead to eventually bow to Lambda Chi Alpha in a 17-16 thriller. Alpha Gamma Rho won its third game by defeating Kappa Sigma, 12-9; Phi Kappa Psi eked out a 14-13 win over Phi Sigma Kappa with Gordon Robinson leading the way with 6 points; Delta Sigma Phi outscored Alpha Phi Alpha in another low-scorer, 13-8, and in the final league F tilt, Kappa Delta Rho dropped a 25-16 decision to Sigma Chi as Bill West dunked 10 markers. Lehigh Wrestlers Bow To Lien Freshmen, 23-71 Coach Charlie Ridenour’s fresh man wrestlers opened their sea son with a one-sided 23-11 decision over Lehigh Saturday afternoon on the Rec hall mats. In gaining the victory State won five of the eight possible matches. The Lions were victor ious in the 130, 147, 157, 167, and the heavyweight divisions. Of these five wins Penn State gained four falls. These performances were turned in by Dick Lemyre, Jerry Maurey, Bill Krebs, and Joe Pascarella. The other victor was Budd Whitehill in the 167-lb. class. State clinched the decision be fore the final two matches were started. The Lion held an 18-8 edge as the next-to-the-last match started.
