Basketeers Lose Twice
On Midwest Road-Trip
- Perin State’s basketball team limped home yesterday afternoon
after . drbpping two games on a three-game road trip which took
them ; ihto ;East Lansing, Mich, and Detroit.
After splitting even in the Spartan tournament, defeating Ohio
State, and losing to-Michigan State, the Grossmen lost their fourth
game of the current campaign to Lawrence Tech, undefeated in

held off Bill Polito, of Theta Kap
pa Phi, to walk off with the 121-
pound laurels.
The 128-pound honors went to
Sam Hamilton, of Beta Theta Pi,
as. he rallied to wear down Tom
Lucas, of Sigma Nu.
Classy Bud Marts put his bet
ter boxing ability to good use in
taking the independent 135-
pound title from Bob Weaver.
In the independent 145-pound
title; clash Fred Brown took the
measure of wild-swinging Joe

Kappa, rocked Rudy Reid, of

rights to the stomach, to take the
145-pound title.

Dick Cameron, of Beta Theta
Pi, ; took the 165-pound title, best

in' winning the 175-pound title.
