With the
Greeks
Military Ball weekend will be
highlighted by many pledge
dances at local fraternity houses
tomorrow night. The affairs vary
from closed formal dances to
open i bid parties. Most of them
are scheduled to start at 9 o’clock.
Some of the. houses will
combine for joinl x parties. Zeta
Tau Alpha will visit the Chi
Phi fraternity for a joint pledge
dance. Theta Chi and Theta"
Phi Alpha will hold a joint
Christmas pledge formed at, the
Theta Chi house. Alpha Xi
Delta and Pi Kappa Phi are
joining for their pledge dance
at the Pi Kappa Phi house.
Phi Kappa house and Sigma
Nu issued invitations to formal
pledge dances. Both affairs are
open bid. ,
Delta Upsilon will hold their
fall pledge formal. Theta Kappa
Phi’s pledge dance will be for
mal and closed bid.
Non-pledge dances have .also
been scheduled by some of the
houses for tomorrow night.
For the second consecutive
year. Theta Xi has selected the
- spider theme for their Christ
mas dance. Tomorrow night's
informal "Spider Spin" will
feature Helen Booth's orches
tra. Lambda Chi Alpha will
hold an informal Christmas
dance.
A “Snowflake Swirl” will take
place at the Beaver House, and
the dance will be semi-formal
and open bid.

Koerber-Brown
Mr; and Mrs. Robert Brown,
of Drexel Hill, Pa., announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Geraldine, and John Richard
Koerber. Miss Brown is a sopho
more in physical education and
a member of Alpha Chi Omega
sorority. Mr. Koerber, a member
of Kappa Sigma fraternity, is a
senior in physical education.
Pennsylvania Deans
The second meeting of the
Pennsylvania deans will be held
at the College tomorrow at 10
am., according to H. K. Wilson,
dean of men at the College.
The deans will discuss prob
lems which concern their group.
Following the meeting will be a
luncheon at the Nittany Lion inn.

Delta Delta Delta sorority en
tertained Phi Gamma Delta fra
ternity Nov. 30 in the playroom
in McElwain hall.

McAllister Wins
In WRA Basketball
McAllister hall defeated Sim
mons hall 13-9 in the WRA bas
ketball intramurals last Monday
night. McElwain hall and the
Town team forfeited to Leonides
and Atherton East respectively.
Last week, Suzanne Hosier
scored 16 points to help the Nit
tany Co-Op team defeat Phi Sig
ma Sigma 29-18. In the only other
games played last week, Kappa
Delta defeated Phi Mu 23-22 and
Alpha Xi Delta won over Delta
Delta Delta 31-17.
