years of varsity experience.
Charley Toogood, a 220-pound,
three-year award winner, and
Walt Spellman, a 200-pound con
verted guard, fill the tackle po
sitions, while Art Bauer, a fifth
senior, works with Strasheim at
the guard slots.
Defensively the Cornhuskers
are sparked by .Ron Clark, the
165-pound speedster well-remem
bered hereabouts for the 82-yard
punt return which accounted for
Nebraska's only touchdown last
year. Glassford's defensive line is
heavy, tipping in at 207. Biggest
man on the front wall is Don
8011, 6-foot 2-inch, 240-pound
sophomore tackle. The other
tackle is veteran Dick Goeglein,
with sophomore guard Dick Goll,
senior end Bill Maxe, and sopho
more end George Prochaska
rounding out the line.
