Glaser-Haring
Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Haring of
Morton have announced the en
gagement of their daughter, Mar
ion, to John Glaser of Lansdowne.
Miss Haring is a junior at the
college and a member of Phi Mu
sorority. Mr. Glaser is now attend
ing school in Cleveland, Ohio.
Final Rush Week
To Begin Sunday
The final week of sorority
rushing will begin Sunday when
the sororities will be 'at home"
from 2 to 5 p.m. Rushees must be
invited by the sorority to attend.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
and Thursday coke dates will be
held in the afternoons, while from
11 to 12 a.m. women may visit
any sorority without invitation.
This is being done so that rushees
may visit sororities they missed
during open houses.
Rushing will end Friday even
ing when each sorority will hold
two coffee hours. Members will
call for rushees, and cars may be
used.
Preferential cards may be fill
ed out in the office of the Dean
of Women Friday from 9:30 to
10:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9
a.m. to noon. Sororities will pick
up list Sunday at 4 p.m., and rib
boning will follow at 7 p.m.

product of California State Teach
ers College, seems to have the
inside edge for the task, mainly
on the basis of his showing against
Cornell. Shattuck will, however,
have to beat off the efforts of Jim
Pollard, a hard-driving junior,
and Herb Kurtz, a 6-foot, Z-inch,
200-pound senior.
Dougherty, who rolled up 519
yards last year, can count on re
lief from Chan Johnson, a junior
and the fourth backfield letter
man, and George Jacob, a fast
stepping senior.
Back in action after almost two
weeks of inactivity, Orsini has
shown the drive and speed that
could make him one of the most
potent weapons in Engle's bag of
tricks. Tony is backed up by
speedster Earle Mundell, and Bob
Pollard, a sophomore with great
promise.
