Four Heads Appointed;
Now Lead Departments
The appointments of four de
partment heads at the College
became effectiv a July 1.
Dr. Charles M. Long, of the
College of Education, Indiana
University, was named professor
and head of the department of
education. He succeeds Dr. 'Wil
liam E. Pratt, who resigned in
1948 to accept the presidency of
Indiana State Teachers' College.
Dr. Henry W. Popp, professor
of botany, who has been on the
