P/\OK b'* Mrf i\ Home Ec College Belles To Display Summer Styles By JOYCE MOYER A summer scene, including a trellis, white picket fence, love seat and forsythia will set the atmosphere for the modeling of spring and summer styles in the “Fashions for ’5O”- show, spon sored by the News and Views, new home economics publica tion, tomorrow at 7 p.m in Schwab auditorium. A peek at the summer styles with a distinctive look all their own will be given as the show is narrated by Sybil Slomowitz, a sophomore in the School of Liberal Arts. A variety of out fits will be shown, ranging from bathing suits to formal even ing gowns, contributed by town merchants. Sport Clothes Among the showing of sport clothes will be Jantzen pedal pushers in butcher linen featur ing the new shade, greige (com; bination of grey and beige) with a colorful polo shirt. The men on campus haven’t been forgotten either—for their sportswear in cludes white tennis shorts and tee shirt and gabardine slacks with a navy sports jacket. A highlight of the program will be a formal scene featuring the new short-length gown and the ever-popular white dinner jack et. Home Ec Models Organ music for the entire program will be provided by Howard Fleming, assisted by Wil liam Drummeter. All of the mod els in the program are students in the School of Home Econom ics, chosen by members of the News and Views staff.
