Panhellenic Adopts
Rushing Schedule
Pan Hellenic Council voted
Tuesday to begin next fall’s rush
ing on September 16. The Council
also passed a motion to hold Cof
fee Hours on Friday night, Sep
tember 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and
from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
In order to get to know rushees
a little better, the sororities de
cided to hold coke dates from 11
to 12 a.m. the second week of
rushing. This is the first tin\e this
system has been tried.
Three new officers of the Coun
cil were elected at the meeting.
They are recording secretary, Jean
Heidemann; corresponding secre
tary, Natalie Adler; and treasurer,
Janet Evans. '•
Joan Saunders, Joan Wiley, and
Marjorie Alsberg were appointed
to the Council’s rushing commit
