of the Carnival presented a wide
variety of entertainment. The
booths were placed in the middle
of S. Allen street, back to back,
their fronts facing both sidewalks.
Among those entered were pie
throwing, baseball pitching, var
ity shows and revues, and side
shows. Crowds ,thronged the area,
both participating in and watch
ing the various events.
The Carnival turned over ap
proximately $l,OOO of its profits to

J. Paul .Sheedy* Switched. to Wildroot Cream-Oil
Because He Flunked The Finger Nail Test
THIS IS no "yoke", son. If people have been calling you-egg
head because your hair looks soft-boiled, here's eggs-actly
-what to do. Get busy with popular Wildroot Cream-Oil hair
tonic. It grooms your hair neatly and naturally without that
gooey look. Relieves annoying dryness and removes loose, ugly
dandruff. Helps you pass the Fingernail Test! Wildroot Cream-
Oil is non-alcoholic ... contains soothing Lanolin. Get a tube
or bottle of Wildroot Cream-Oil at any drug or toilet goods
counter today. Always ask your barber for a professional
application. (Better be hard-boiled with your roommate
keep egging him to get some Wildroot Cream-Oil of his own.
It's tops for keeping your sunny side up!)
