FRIDAY, MAY 13, 1949 Panhel Installs New Officers Inserra, Edelstein and Wolfe New Panhellenic officers, Louise Inserra, corresponding secre tary; Ruth Edelstein. recording secretary: and Patricia Wolfe, treas urer, were installed at the final meeting of the Council Tuesday night The Council first passed an amendment providing for the election of corresponding and recording secretaries from the Council in contrast to the previous statute stating that the secretary should be someone not a member of Panhel. Elections were then held nam ing Miss Inserra and Miss Edel stein to their offices. Miss Wolfe was elected to the treasurer’s post at the previous meeting. Mrs. Cyrus E. French was in troduced as the new advisor to Panhel. Miss Delores Jelacic, president, presented a farewell gift to Miss Helen Heckler, past advsor, and thanked the Council for the work of the outgoing year. A party for old and new re (Column Beta Sigma Rho Seymour Barash was recently elected president of Beta Sigma Rho. Other officers include Berle Ratowsky, vice-president; Wil lard Klein, treasurer; Joel Kran ich, secretary; Edward Robinson, warden; and Marvin Kohn, vice warden. Delta Gamma Delta Gammas entertained their mothers at a Sunday morn ing breakfast. Graduating seniors were recently entertained at a buffet supper by the alumnae. Delta Gamma entertained Sig ma Alpha Epsilon at a circus party Tuesday evening. Pi Kappa Alpha Robert Louis was elected presi dent and Richard Hannah vice president of Pi Kappa Alpha re cently. A new treasurer. George Blickley, had been chosen earlier. Newly iniated members of the fraternity are Bruce Becker, John Chapman .James Egolf, Wil liam Grancey, Samuel Harsh berger, Richard Laher, Harry Rintz, Darrell Rishel and John Schumacher. Tau Kappa Epsilon Ralph Lewis was elected to serve as prytanis of Tau Kappa Epsilon for 1949-50.
