Chimes Choose
Bonnert Head
Eileen Bonnert was elected
president of Chimes, national
junior honor society, at a meeting
Monday night.
Other officers elected were Mar
garet Lapp, vice-president; Bar
bara Sprenkle, secretary; Rose
Eitert, treasurer; and Virginia
Richards, historian.
Chimes members will return to
school next fall a week early to
help orient the new sophomores
and transfer students.
After th e business meeting, the
new officers were installed and
refreshments served.

dent. Other officers elected were
Vic Rubin, vice-president: Irv
Kricheff, treasurer; Fred Solo
mon, corresponding secretary;

at-arms; and William Glov, his
torian.
Robert Einhorn and Murray
Gross were initiated into the fra
ternity Monday night. Myron
Goldstone has been pledged.
Sigma Alpha Epsilon
New officers of Sigma Alpha
Epsilon are Kip Sieber, president:
Edwin Hoffman, vice-president;
Tony Murdock, secretary; and
Edwin Barnitz, correspondent.
Theta Phi Alpha
The pledge class ol' Theta Phi
Alpha has elected Joan Grazier,
president, and Mary Jane Bailey,
secretary. The sorority will hold
a picnic in honor of pledges at
Whipple’s Dam this Sunday.
Kappa Delta
Kappa Delta entertained their
mothers and guests at a break
fast in the State College Hotel on
Mother’s Day.
The sorority recently held their
annual White Rose Formal din
ner dance. The banquet was
served at the State College Ho
tel and dancing followed at the
Alpha Sigma Phi house.
Alumnae entertained the chap
ter at a dessert party.
