Spring Week--

Friday night will climax the
week's 3-tivities with the IFC-
Panhel Ball in Rec Hall from 9
p.m. to 1 a.m. Featuring the mu
sic of Tommy Dorsey and his or
chestra, the ball will be the oc
casion for the crowning of Spring
Queen, Lois Kenyon. At inter
mission of the dance the finals
will be held for the IFC-Panhel
sing. Four groups, two fratern;-
ties and two sororities chosen at
the semi-finals tonight will com
pete.
"Breakfast in Bedlam", a radio
program, presented from the TUB
and broadcast over WMAJ will
start Saturday's activities. At 2
p.m. Saturday a Bebop-Jazz Con
cert led by Arny Taylor on the
drums and Gene Sprague on the
trumpet will take place at
Schwab Auditorium. It will be
free to everyone.
Houseparties
Saturday evening, most of the
fraternities will hold their tradi
tional houseparties. The Associa
tion of Independent Men will hold
its houseparty at the University
club.
Spring Week will conclude on
Sunday with a concert by the
Men's Glee Club in Schwab Audi
torium at 3 Pm.

Dairymen Prepare
For An;mal Show
Instruction on fitting animals
for the Dairy Show, to be held at
the College May 7, will be given
in the Dairy Cattle barn at 7:30
p.m. Monday.
More than 60 students drew
choices for animals in the show.
Dairy Science Club officers and
Dr. Max Dawdy, club adviser, will
be in charge of the instruction.
A student dairy jurdging con
test in the production section Ap
ril 23, and a student dairy pro
ducts judging contest in the man
ufacturing section a week preced
ing the show, are also scheduled.
