Senior Team ---
Continued from page five
former years, are remaining com
batants for the left attack posi
tion left vacant through the grad
uation of Art Lorenz.
Replacements at close-attack
are Stan Domash, a stickhandler
from Swarthmore, and John
Hughes, a senior.
Thiel bemoaned the freak
schedule which carded the State
stickwielders for five rough and
rugged games within one and
one-half weeks to open the sea
son.
Also feared by Thiel are Loy
ola, Navy and Syracuse who will
appear in the Lion lacrossers'
only home engagements.

minute recommendation, and
was not one of the four original
proposals recommended by the
senior gift committee.
Sum Too Large
A recommendation that caps
and gowns be purchased for the
use of graduating seniors was
voted down after it was disclosed
that the sum required was too
large to be covered by the senior
fund.
Blank et alumni association
memberships for the entire class
were rejected also, the criticism
being that the use of the fund for
such purpose would be equiva
lent to re-distributing the money
back to each • individual senior.
A motion from the floor that
the money be used to establish a
scholarship fund to he handled
by the alumni association was not
approved by the required major
ity.
