Receptive to the above pro posal, Harold Brown, then Lion chque chairman, agreed to a joint steering committee meeting of the two parties t o discuss Keller's suggestion. From this meeting the two groups passed a resolution stating that they were in favor of inject ing politics into all campus elec tions in which politics already existed, with some modifications. Sunday night's action indicates, however, that the Lion steering committee has since decided to veto th e proposal and the party as a whole followed the same course of action. Since success of such a plan hinges on its adoption by both praties, the State clique is expect ed to follow suit and also reject the proposal at its meeting Sun day. Both parties will meet to make preliminary nominations for the April elections Sunday.
