SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 1949 New Boro Traffic Regulations Start Monday Stop signs, one-way streets and no-parking areas will go into effect in the fraternity area mid night Sunday in order to remove safety hazards and to aid the flow of traffic. The new regulations call for six one-way streets and no parking an one side of 11 streets. Motor ists were cautioned by Chief of Police John R. Juba to keep the changes in mind because after Sunday midnight many stop signs will be moved to give one-way streets the right-of-way, particu larly on Beaver avenue and Pugh and Burrowes streets. /important Change There will be no change on College avenue which will be a through street except for the stop lights at Allen, Burrowes and Atherton.. One important change is noted at College and Burrowes where a right turn for westbound traffic will be permitted on the Ted signal. Left turns from Col lege to Allen will not be allowed. Allen street has the right-of way in both directions with the exception of the intersection at College avenue. One-way streets, running from north to south, are S.. Burrower and S. Pugh. Those running from south tc north are Frazier and Locust Lane. Calder alley will be one-way from east to west and Highland alley will be one way from west to east. . signs on Burrowes will be at Calder alley, Beaver , 7sTe7 and Nittany. The one-way ends at Fairmount avenue. • Frasier Street On Frazier street, stop signs will be on both corners facing Calder alley, Beaver, Highland alley, Foster and Nittany. Pugh stop signs will be placed ait Calder alley, Beaver, Foster, Nittany and at the intersection .oatTairmount facing Pugh. . • For Locust Lane, signs will be . placed on Calder alley, Beaver. Foster, Nittany, Fairmount and Prospect. Fairmount is through traffic front Atherton to Allen and from Allen to Locust Lane. Calde al ley is one-way west with signs set, the through streets.
