State College Friends Meeting.

Delegates Attend
AVC Convention
Four delegates and two alter
nates will represent the campus
chapter of the American Veterans
Committee at the national con
vention this weekend in Cleve
land.
Delegates are Corbin Kidder,
Larry Rothstein, Leo Troy and
Melvin Kitinsky; alternates are
Martin Light and Saul Sperling.
Harold Fillman of Acacia won
the typewriter in the recent AVC
contest.

At the request of the Agricul
tural Student Council, an agricul
tural convocation has been sched
uled in 121 Sparks, Tuesday night,
Nov. 30. State Secretary of Agri
culture Miles Horst has been ob
tained as speaker for the occasion.
Ted Allen, a member of the
Council. will preside over the

meeting. Phil Cease, Council
president, will speak briefly,.after
which Dr. Lyman E. Jackson,
dean of the School of Agriculture,
will introduce Secretary Horst.
