Fraternity House Bills Total
Little More Than College Dorms
The average fraternity man at
the College pays on the average
only 17 cents a month more for
room and board than a student
living in College dormitories, fig
ures compiled by the staff of the
IFC Newsletter reveal.
These and other findings con
cerning average fraternity house
bills were published in yester
day's issue of the Newsletter.
Other figures show that the
average fraternity housebill at
the College is $73.15. This in
-ludes room, board, and social
fees. Room and board account for
566.09 of the total, the remainder
being the average house social
fee.
As a comparison, average
monthly room rent for West, Nit
tany, and Pollock Circle dorms
(double rooms) is $18.83. Added
to the average College board bill
of $47.09 per month, the total
