Empha sizing the Nittany single-wing offensive, Coach Munger also pre pared his team for an aerial at tack expected to come from Lion passer Elwood Petchel. In the eleven years Munger has coached the Red and Blue, he has never had a poor season. His teams have won 60 games and lost 20. Coach Higgins will try to keep Munger's record of never having beaten a Penn State team intact by sending against the Philadel phia foes a one-two punch in the person of Wally Triplett and Elwood Petchel. Averaging 11.7 yards per carry, Triplett is the leading ground gainer on the Nittany eleven.
