PAGE Soph Hockey Team Hands Double Loss To Upperclassmen Women’s interclass hockey be gan Monday afternoon as the sophomore team defeated the upperclassman 4-2. In a second game on Tuesday the sophomores were again successful, winning by a 5-2 score. Three sophomore goals were made by Evelyn Lanning and one by Phyllis Brenckman on Mon day. In Tuesday’s game for the sophomore team, Pat Wolfe was responsible for two goals, Evelyn Lanning for two, and Nancy Mat tern for one. Frances Nichols scored all goals for the upper class team on both days. Sophomores participating in both games were Phyllis Brenck man, Gladys Humphreys, Hilde gard Hurm, Mary Ann Krepps, Evelyn Lanning, and Pat Wolfe. Those playing only on Monday were Barbara Lintzmeyer, Bar bara Ann McClurken and Betty Spencer, and those on Tuesday were Carolyn Caveny, Joann Hoy, Nancy Mattern, and Irene Sloat. Upperclassman playing in both ames were Genie Bassart, Jean Cameron, Frances Nichols, Elea nor Ralston, and Pat Rauterberg. B. J. Sammons and Shirley Hack enberg participated on Monday only and Sally Brooke and Marion "'nek played only on Tuesday.
