Britton To Head
Gov't. Conference
Ray Britton has been ohosen
chairman of the North Central
District of the Intercollegiate Con
ference on Government, and will
preside at the regional conven
tion to be held at the College.,
Saturday.
A .meeting of the Intercollegi
ate Conference on Government
will be held in 124 Sparks at 4
o'clock this afternoon. Plans for
the regional meeting on Saturday
will be dismissed and additional
delegates to the Model Conven
tion in Philadelphia will be se
lected.
The conference at the College
on Saturday is a preliminary
meeting to the Model National
Political Convention which will
take place in Philadelphia from
April 8 to 11, Over 50 colleges
will be represented at the coq
vention.
Britton and Joan Hester were
elected as chairman and secretary
of the delegation to the Philadel
phia Convention.
