In the telegraphic meets, each school ParticiPates separately a nd then wires their team results to a zen tral headquarters. Of the schools competing, Fenn State had a score of 496, Gettys burg College 472. University of Nevada 493, and University of Kansas 460. In all 20 matches have been scheduled throughout the yaar. engagetnenti Hayes Danaher The engagement of Helen Ma rie Danaher of Camden, New Jer sey, to John L. Hayes of Haddon? field, N.J., was announced at Christmas. Miss Danaher is an Alpha Omicron Pi alumna of Mi ami University, Oxford, Ohio. At present she is assistant personnel manager of Radio Condenser Corp., Cam.den. Reyes is a junior in industrial engineering. he is a Sigma Nu, a member of Phi Eta Sigma, the X-GI Club and the Newman Club. He is also a member of the varsity lacrosse team. Rees— Kartner Sylvia Kartner, a graduate of the College from Pottsville, and Robert Rees, a sophomore in Lib oral Arts, and also from Potts ville, were recently engaged. Rees is a member of Kappa Delta Rho. Swatkowaki Schwab The engagement of Margaret Schwab of Wilkes-Barre to Theo_ dare Swatkowski, a junior in chemical engineering and also of Wilkes-Barre, was announced.
