Druid Drive Nets
SBS for Lion Suit
Druids, sophomore men’s hon
orary, has collected -85.68 toward
a new Lion uniform, said Joseph
D. Shcin, chairman of the drive.
The money will be given to
Harold R. (Ike) Gilbert, grad
uate manager of athletics, and
■will be used for the Lion suit.
Further plans for collecting funds
for t.he uniform are being formu
lated.
John Benglian, president of
Druids, thanks each of the indi
vidual contributors and the con
tributing organizations who help
ed make the drive as successful
as it was.

Music League Names
O'Brien to Committee
Prof. Joseph F. O’Brien of the
speech department was recently
appointed chairman of the Speech
Advisory Committee of the
Pennsylvania Forensic and Music
League by Prof. Lynn W. Thayer
of the University of Pittsburgh,
who is executive secretary of the
league.
Acting in this capacity’
O’Brien’s duties will involve con-!
sultations on objectives and pro-;
cedures in high school forensics
